My name is Chris Smith and I have been teaching people to drive for about twenty five years.
I got started by putting a friend on my car insurance as a named driver and reading a book! He passed his test first time and word soon got around, that I would give driving lessons, in exchange for help with my property developing business.
Over the years I have continued to teach people to drive, more as a hobby than a business, whilst continuing to buy and sell property.
In 2011, I decided to turn my hobby into a business and once I qualified as an instructor, I started North Oxford Driving School.
I really enjoy teaching people to drive, whether they are starting from scratch or just wanting to improve the standard of their driving. I have found that working with property contrasts really well with giving driving lessons, helping me keep my lessons fun as well as productive for my pupils.
